Road Hours

Road Hours is a personal shift log for traveling tradesmen, Boilermakers, welders, oilfield, industrial, shutdown, field-service, construction, and contract workers who keep their own hours.

$9.99 one-time. No subscription. Digital access. No shipping.

If you already write every shift in a pocket calendar or a notebook, this is that habit on your phone.

Open Road Hours, tap Add Today's Shift, type the day, save. No Mentor chat. No employer login. No GPS.

Regular, Overtime, and Double-Time hours stay separate. Worked Lunch adds exactly 0.5 overtime hour. Optional daily mileage is kept out of hour totals. Search old dates. Totals by week, month, year, employer, job, or date range. Compare your hours with pay-stub hour categories (you type the stub hours). Print, CSV, and a backup file you control.

After payment you receive an access code by email. Open https://road-hours.vercel.app/hours, sign in with your purchase email and claim that code once. On another device, sign in with the same email to recover hours that finished syncing. Each purchase belongs to one verified account.

Road Hours is a personal recordkeeping tool. It is not an official timecard, payroll system, or paycheck certification. It does not calculate pay, verify a paycheck, determine overtime entitlement, give tax or legal advice, create an official union or unemployment record, or replace employer timekeeping.

Your records save on this device and sync privately to your verified account when connected. Check that the app says ‘Saved on this device and synced to your account’ before switching devices. Keep a downloaded JSON backup too. First sign-in and reopening an expired session require internet; keep the page open while working offline. Unsynced changes stay on that device until it reconnects. Cloud saving is not a promise of zero data loss.

Already using Road Hours? Export a JSON backup from your original device before updating. Sign in and claim your purchase, then review and confirm your own previous device-only hours before importing. The original log is retained.

Privacy: Road Hours stores verified email, purchase entitlement and saved work records in a private Supabase account database. Vercel runs the app, Shopify verifies purchases and Resend delivers sign-in emails. Current hours do not expire; recovery keeps up to 50 versions for up to 30 days. Contact renndontcarebooks@gmail.com for access or privacy help.

Manual pay-stub comparisons use the hours you type; no photo reading or paycheck verification. Differences up to 0.25 hour in each category are treated as a match. Regular, overtime and double-time categories are entered manually, not automatically allocated from start/end times.
